Who is Professor Ebrahim Jafarzadehpur?
Personal life
Perhaps one of the most important and defining turning points in my life was studying at "Hafd 3 High School". A large and well-equipped high school in the central area of Tehran. The teachers of this high school were not only outstanding scholars in teaching students, but they also taught us life skills. Although in those years, the excitement of the beginning of the revolution and war had changed the atmosphere of the country, the penetrating and pleasant words of the teachers of Hafd High School will always have an eternal echo in our ears. The proximity of this high school to the streets leading to the Parliament and Mojahedin Street caused our high school to remain only in memories in the development and expansion of the streets of this area. Today, there is no Hafd High School anymore in the vicinity of Shafa Yahyaian Hospital to Iran Street, but a part of the knowledge and culture of this country has definitely benefited from the life of this high school.
Scientific life
My entry into Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the field of optometry was very accidental. I had no knowledge of the field of optometry and chose the field of optometry based only on an interesting experience I had in an ophthalmology office as a child. But I soon realized that this field encompasses a wide range of knowledge from physics to biology and the range of cognitive sciences. I began to learn with interest and perseverance. Although I was an average student in high school, the atmosphere of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the field of optometry gave me a motivation that, despite the fact that I was ranked first in the first place in the class when I first entered this field, I finished my bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs with first place. Of course, I also ranked first in the entrance exams for master's and doctoral programs. Perhaps the reason I mention these successes is mainly to emphasize that you can start at any time to achieve success and achieve success with effort.
